I am primarily a generative artist. For quite a while I was creating generative music, but I have moved more into the visual, making generated video.
Cloud Drum
An installation in which a visitor can set a virtual drum in motion. The visuals show the drum vibrating in slow motion. (More info)
Evochord
An installation in which a genetic algorithm tries to evolve a harmonious chord. There is no imposed tuning: the pitch resolution is 1/900 of a semitone. The visuals show a representation of the chord (More info)
Starfish
Laptop improvisation with video projection. The performer sings into a microphone; the sound is processed by a semi-autonomous network of delay lines which the performer manipulates with a video game controller. The network is projected for the audience to see. (More info)

Dissonant Particles
An abstract video, consisting of moving particles which repel one another according to a psychoacoustic law. The sound and images are derived from the same process. (More info)

In principle I write my own. Currently I am programming on the Macintosh (Mac OS X). I primarily use C++, with a little Objective-C (in the form of Objective-C++) and a little Lua.
