Kung Kroisus Soundsystem: Kung Kroisus Sound system is a software sequencer that I’ve written, since I found all sequencers available a bit limited in a couple of ways.
With this little sequencer program it’s possible to play songs where the instruments are playing in more than one tempo at a time and even to make the polyphonic voices of a single instrument to play in different tempos.
There is also an ability to control the filter parameters in the same way.
The program has also got a smart function included for letting the program compose songs by itself, in real-time.
The program is working by sending midi messages to selected devices.
Right now the program in supporting seven different tempos at a time and can only send information on a limited number of midi channels, but I’m currently working on a new version.
Kung Kroisus Synthsystem: Kung Kroisus Synth system is a software synthesizer that I’ve made as a programming experiment. It turned out to be a quite amusing and incalculable thing.
The synth program is based on rendering different sine waves and putting them together in a synthesis method called phase distortion.
It has got controls available for choosing sinus algorithms, filter value and a strange control for making clicky noises.
Since the program has no midi support and is only controllable with an inbuilt arpeggiator, it’s not very useful in making ordinary songs.
To be honest, I haven’t used it very much.
