I Live in the Burren Co Clare, Ireland (b1962). My interest in “Recording and Music Technology” was sparked at a young age while at boarding school where I ended up recording the Choir at Sunday Mass, for the “Choir Master”. The step from Recording to Music Technology is a small one.
I primarily compose “Acousmatic and Electroacoustic music for fixed media and installations. One of areas I am currently interest in, is that of Sound Diffusion, Multi Channel Sound and Ambisonics, particularly as applied to live Performance
My methods varies, sometimes it is “Nothing more then intuition”, while other times its “a more meticulous scientific approach is used, using Synthesisers and Samplers (Hardware and Software) are used, coupled with the liberal use of Software Tools for processing, manipulating, and control.
